Hurricane preparedness

Norman's Nursing prepares for hurricane season with each client.
At the start of care, an individualized emergency-evacuation plan is made from that person's needs. The plan documents:
- Physician orders and recommendations
- Medical diagnosis, if applicable
- Allergies
- Physical limitations
- Personal preferences
- Medications and treatments
- Medical supplies and equipment
- Transportation needs if evacuating
Norman's Nursing can provide a caregiver who stays with the client until the emergency is over. This can be with Norman's chosen facility or at another place the family chooses.
We can help arrange safe lodging. Pet-friendly options may be available.
